Working again on ARM

After setting up the Desktop, I have started the reading the stuff about the ARM. Board is with me, but unfortunatly JTAG is not with me, so I can't flash the memory.
Stuff I m getting into head.
But the worst part of the quest is that, I dont know what is the start point.
I hope in even darkness, I am getting close to the target but still, No idea how far I have come.
I have have almost finished the ARM assembly programing intial tutorial, but We need to go little further.
Next I think I m going to pick the Dev manaul, as that will make me much more familier with PXA255 Dev board.
I was looking for the stuff for ARM, I found the project's PDF which is the portable media player running on the same processor PXA255,
I will discuss with it my two other team member, I think we can take it up as case study..
need to look for the lot of stuff for ARM, may be i will try with the bitme.org people again to reactivate the account.
ok then, I will try to digg irc now..

Success after the Hard time...

I was struggling from past 2 day, almost to run the internet with this Slackware virtual machine.
As Sharing with the host computer(winxp) is not happening with this Slackware VM.
Then there was only the way to get in, was the network if even network is not working, nothing cant be done.
So network is working. i can download the cross compilers and work now...
Good luck

14 July 2008 with ARM

ARM - is came from its Origin company ACRON RISC MACHINE Ltd, later they become as Advance RISC Machine.

ARM architecture is popular as it is having very less power consumption.
The ARM processor we have that is from Xscale Family This is the Intel Product.

Architecture version of the processor we have is ARM v5TE and our processor is PXA255

[From Web]-> The intel PXA255 Xscale processor is a highly integrated, 32 bit RISC processor that combines the efficiency of intel design with ARM v5TE instruction set.

Again Start 13 - 1 = 12

We started again on quite ambitious project, which is on ARM architecture.
PAX 255 is the processor.
I always want to do something quite different, which is not coming to anyone's mind.

I got the dedicated team, Me, Yusuf and Atul...

I must need to complete this ...

I have started the pre-study of the project...

what is tool chain ?

still not opened anything about the PAX255 processor...
Let's have a slow start...
Good Luck Baby...
